The Exchange

The heart of efoil is a confidential system for placing confidential inquiries for future production and supply. efoil's exchange is not a catalog listing. Instead, each buyer and seller specifies their specific technical, quantity, delivery, time-frame, currency, and geographic requirements. efoil's system then confidentially matches all buy and sell inquiries on a continuous basis, and provides a confidential best-fit ranking to each matching inquiry. During this matching process, no information is revealed to any other party. Buyers and sellers can use the efoil system without concern over revealing competitive sourcing information in a public forum.

All key elements of future foil supply / production needs can be specified:

quantities
technical specifications (temper, width, alloy, gauge, chemistry)
specific delivery / production schedules
geographic locations
specific exclusion of competitors and existing suppliers and customers

Each party can proceed with a matched inquiry only when the other, non-disclosed party likewise agrees to proceed. No information about each party's inquiry is shared with the other. When both parties agree to proceed, their identities are revealed to each other. No price information is conveyed, until after the identity of the parties is known to each other, and then only when the parties choose to reveal pricing.

The matching process continues until the inquiring party terminates the inquiry. Parties can have as many simultaneous inquiries as they wish.

The efoil system allows a producer or buyer of foil to maintain a continuous presence in various global markets on a completely confidential basis.
